Born and raised in Kansas, Haley Wright is definitely a piece of work. An others proclaimed terrible listener and huge nuisance, her brain is chock full of stories, and her hands can’t seem to stop scribbling! She has worked at art museums, at high schools, and taught art overseas. She specializes in intricate narrative watercolor illustrations. Her first illustrated book was created when she was in first grade, and she hasn’t stopped since. Through all the jobs and hikes and laughs and friends her story has taken an exciting turn and she has found herself teaching art at the college level as well as continuing her personal freelance practice.
